Absolutely! The ingredients in Athletic Turf Wash are very safe for people of all ages as well as pets. We ask that the user gives 10 minutes after application for the solution to completely saturate the area before having people and animals return to the turf surface.

What classifies something as a nano particle is its size. Anything under 100 nanometers is considered a nanoparticle. Our Nano Metallic Silver Oxide (NSMO) used in Athletic Turf Wash is 5-7 nanometers in size. 1000 times smaller than a human hair! This particular Silver nanoparticle size is the most effective for cleaning, while being safe for those who come in contact with it.

Athletic Turf Wash should be applied to your artificial turf surface every month. One Gallon will treat up to 1500 Square Ft.

The process for use is very easy and doesn't require a lot of your time.  First remove any debris or animal solids from the turf surface. Blow down the surface to ensure any remaining solids are removed. Hose down the surface with water. Hosepipe water is fine. Then apply liberally Athletic Turf Wash over the whole surface, saturating the surface. Let sit for 10 minutes. That's it! Repeat every month for best results.

This is a very valid concern. Our product completed testing on a major college campus for two years prior to launch and it had zero negative effects on the playing surfaces, leaving no residue and kept the turf clean and in its natural state.
