Absolutely! The ingredients in Athletic Mat Wash are virtually the same as our Turf Wash, which is safe for people of all ages as well as pets. We ask that the user completely wipe off the mat with a towel after apply the mat wash, before having people and pets return to using the mat.

What classifies something as a nano particle is its size. Anything under 100 nanometers is considered a nanoparticle. Our Nano Metallic Silver Oxide (NSMO) used in Athletic Mat Wash is 5-7 nanometers in size. 1000 times smaller than a human hair! This particular Silver nanoparticle size is the most effective for reduction of bacteria, viruses, fungus and odor, while being safe for those who come in contact with it. 

The process for use is very easy and doesn't require a lot of your time. First, remove any debris or liquids from the surface. Dry off the surface to ensure any remaining solids are removed. Once surface is clean and dry, apply Athletic Mat Wash over the whole surface until the surface is thoroughly wet. Wipe with towel. Reapply between every use of the mat and at the end of the day.
